About the Position

Resource Development Company LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team in Sparks, Nevada.

We specialize in civil construction, structural and site concrete, welded steel tanks, and water and wastewater treatment projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial or industrial concrete construction, with experience preparing estimates and managing projects from bid through completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and material quantity takeoffs for concrete construction projects.

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.

• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, crews, and subcontractors.

• Oversee concrete projects, including foundations, slabs, site concrete, and structural concrete.

• Monitor project costs, change orders, quality, and safety.

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial concrete construction.

• Strong concrete estimating and project management experience.

• Ability to read construction drawings and prepare accurate takeoffs.

• Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or HCSS.

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.

Resource Development Company LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Sparks, Nevada.

We are a growing civil construction company looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections.

• Repair and maintain diesel trucks, vehicles, and equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.

• Perform suspension, alignment, and other necessary repairs.

• Maintain accurate service and repair records.

• Work with the team to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician required.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic tools.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.

• Experience with heavy equipment or construction vehicles preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus.
